A listing by Range/Township/Section with the Entrywomen's name gives a better idea how they might have been grouped geographically in the counties is shown in the rear of the book.

The Index is a good means of showing the large number of women who actually owned land in this eara of time in our country when they were denied rights. How this was done under law is unclear, but their names were entered as Entrymen in the actual ledger books.
